The Apple iPhone 7 is now available across the country, and you can either buy it online, or head over to nearest Apple reseller or Reliance Digital store in your vicinity.

But unlike previous years, in 2016 the iPhone 7 can bought in multiple ways from your choice of telecom operator, be it Airtel or Reliance Jio. Here’s a look at the ways you can buy the latest iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus right now.

Reliance Jio

For those who were wondering why Jio is not officially available for iPhone in the country, now is your chance.

Even though you could use a Jio 4G SIM on an iPhone even without needing the Jio Preview Code (My Jio not available on iOS), now, with the official Apple-Jio partnership, you get some more goodies that go beyond what everyone else gets.

As it turns out, anyone who buys the iPhone right now will not only be eligible for the Jio Welcome Offer (lasts up to 31 December 2016), they even get a special 12 month offers that includes use of Jio services worth up to Rs 18,000.

Jio Services:

  • Jio Cinema
  • Jio TV
  • Jio Mags
  • Jio4G Voice
  • Jio Music

It must be noted that this Jio offer for iPhone buyer is only limited to Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru for now.

The Jio plans are quite attractive, but the iPhone 7 is a single SIM phone, and we all know about the voice calling situation on the Jio network right now. So, if you just need a Jio SIM, then we strongly recommend against buying the iPhone. You can get a Jio SIM without spending a buck.

Airtel

Next up, we have Airtel, which lets you buy the iPhone 7 by paying Rs 19,900 as down payment, and the rest can be paid with bundled data and call charges.

But what we’ve come to expect of Airtel is never go by what the company has to say. Instead, read the whole damn picture to get the facts.

All in all, Airtel is giving you 5GB of 3G/4G data for Rs 2,000, which is in the form of operator-bundled payment for the iPhone 7 you buy. These plans go as high as Rs 3000, which will give you a mere 15GB of 3G/4G data.

Once the 12-month plan is over, Airtel expects the consumer to return the iPhone he/or she bought. But that’s not all.

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users can enjoy 10 GB free 4G/3G data per month for one year with any Airtel Infinity postpaid plan. The free data benefit will be over and above the plan benefits. Over the duration of one year, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users on Airtel Infinity plans will get additional 120 GB 4G/3G data. Airtel Infinity postpaid plans offer unlimited voice calling – local, STD, and on national roaming – along with bundled 4G/3G data, SMS and free subscription to Wynk Music and Wynk Movies
