Google has slashed the price of its latest flagship – the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL – by nearly Rs 20,000, and it’s available on Flipkart for as cheap as Rs 39,000.
The phone, which was launched in October, features some of the most high-end specs in a phone, and the best smartphone camera as rated by DxOMark.
There’s a flat Rs 11,000 discount on the base price of Rs 61,000, and then additional discount of Rs 10,000 on all debit and credit cards. OnePlus users can also exchange their 3 or 3T to get an additional discount of Rs 3,000.
Flipkart is giving an additional cashback of up to Rs 18,000 on exchange. However, that’s only for the iPhone 7 Plus, and for the iPhone 7, it’s Rs 14,000.
The discount comes right after OnePlus 5T was launched with specifications like the Google flagship, but at half the cost.
Both the new Pixels look like their older variants from 2016. Pixel 2 has a 5-inch Full HD display with the standard 16:9 aspect ratio, and fingerprint scanner sits on the back. Google Pixel 2 XL, on the other hand, comes with a 6-inch P-OLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Both come with a Snapdragon 835 processor and a 4 GB RAM with a 12 MP camera and a 1.7 f/aperture lens.
There are also new, front facing speakers, a fingerprint sensor at the back, and USB type-C which charges the phone for 7 hours in 15 minutes.
This deal is part of the three-day sale that Flipkart began on 7 December.
