With the OnePlus 6T expected to launch in the coming weeks, Amazon is giving heavy discounts on the OnePlus 6 next week with its upcoming sales offer. It is possible that the price cut is meant to clear up the stocks of the OnePlus 6, which won’t be available once the OnePlus 6T hits the market.

If you’re looking for a phone under 30K, then the OnePlus 6 variant of 6GB and 64GB storage can bought for Rs 29,999. That’s not all, if more storage or RAM is your need then you can also pick between the 6/8GB and 128/256GB models as well, that will be available for Rs 34,999 and Rs 38,999 respectively.

This deal clearly points out a Rs 5,000 price cut on the OnePlus 6 series which puts it in direct competition with the Asus ZenFone 5Z and the top-variant of the Poco F1.

The OnePlus 6 borrows its design elements from the iPhone X, the notch being the prominent showstopper. It packs the Snapdragon 845 processor with 6/8GB RAM options, with storage up to 256GB. As much you have the luxury of using a 3.5mm headphone with the OnePlus 6, the same cannot be said about the upcoming 6T as OnePlus has decided to do away with that feature.

The 6T is going to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner but will be missing out on IP rating, as confirmed by the company’s CEO, Pete Lau recently. We’re hopeful regarding improvements in the cameras along with battery life.

How much will the OnePlus 6T cost? With additions like in-display fingerprint sensor and bigger battery, there’s a good chance that the base variant of the 6T could get a sticker price of Rs 38,000 or even more. And if you aren’t keen on splurging big, the deal on OnePlus 6 is definitely worth looking at.
