LG W Series Phones Launched; Prices Rival Xiaomi Redmi Devices

The South Korean company is entering the highly competitive mobile segment in the country.

After a long absence from the smartphone market, South Korean electronics manufacturer LG is back in the Indian market with three mid-range devices, the LG W10, W30 and the W30 Pro.

The LG W10 has been launched at Rs 8,999 while the LG W30 comes in at Rs 9,999. The company hasn’t revealed the price of the W30 Pro as yet although, it has said that it will be aggressively priced.

Both the LG W10 and the W30 are powered by a Helio P22 MediaTek chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. They also offer 32GB if internal space which can be expanded.

While the LG W10 comes with a 6.19-inch HD+ display with 18:9 screen ratio, the W30 sports a 6.2-inch display with 19:9 screen ratio.

All three phones of the W series come with a 4,000 mAh battery inside which supports Micro USB 2.0.

The W10 sports a dual 13+5-megapixel camera and an 8-megapixel camera at the front.

What sets the W30 apart is the rear triple camera setup comprising of a 12+13+2-megapixel sensor. On the front it sports a 16-megapixel snapper. The W30 also offers face ID.

The W30 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 632 processor and comes with a 13+8+5-megapixel rear camera setup.

Other details about the device haven’t been revealed yet.
