If there’s anything that the youth loves more than social media, it’s clicking selfies. The selfie obsession has reached a fever pitch, so much so, that each time you walk into a public spot, you’ll find yourself surrounded by hundreds of pout face and smirks. The 21st Century selfie scene is so lit, that a study by Nielsen India discovered that 87% of the consumers upload selfies on social media daily.
So, The Quint went on the streets of Hauz Khas Village and asked Delhi's young and free about various challenges that they face while clicking a good groupfie and their answers will make you nod in agreement:
Whether it's a party with the fam bam, a trip with your buddies, or just a casual hangout, taking groupfies is a must.
And we all know the perils of clicking a good groupfie - to find the perfect lighting to click the picture and a good selfie stick (which is usually the tallest guy in the group), others find it difficult to fit themselves into the frame. In fact, the study also found the three most common problems to be - Difficulty in fitting all people in one picture, issues with lighting, and the focus is only on one face. We’ve all been there, done that.
