We’ve barely set into 2019 and the rumour mill has already churned out what is expected to be Apple’s iPhone for the year.

This report via Digit India and OnLeaks comes inclusive of the first leaked renders of the iPhone XI (that’s the name, then!) which is likely to sport three cameras at the back.

This is our first possible look at the upcoming iPhone, which, according to this report is probably going to follow the XI (eleven) series. Does this mean Apple will ditch the iPhone 9 nomenclature altogether? Quite possible.

The report doesn’t mention the nature of the lenses to be used, but we assume Apple will follow Huawei’s example and add a primary lens, along with a telephoto and a wide-angle lens for the iPhone XI.

Does this mean that the iPhone XI Plus will get an additional fourth lens in comparison to the iPhone XI? It’s hard to deny or expect that right now.

Except for the camera, there’s very little left to the imagination in this render, with a glass-back body complimenting the front screen, which could sport a notch, hopefully a smaller one though.

In terms of hardware, Apple could pack the iPhone XI A12 or even the updated A13 bionic processor, with 4GB or maybe 6GB RAM (the latter is unlikely to happen).

It doesn’t matter if Apple does indeed come out with the iPhone XI looking like the leaked picture, because Twitterattis have shared their verdict on the design already.

We’re taking this leaked render with a pinch of salt, especially because it is Apple, and it’s hard to see them making a camera unit, with the LED flash placed so awkwardly. That just doesn’t seem right.
