Apple iPhone X and Google Pixel 2 will make their respective debuts in the country by early November, and the pre-orders will kickstart from later this week via Amazon and Flipkart, besides offline stores.
For Apple iPhone X, the first iPhone with a bezel-less screen will be available for pre-order on Amazon from 27 October midnight, while Flipkart will start its process from 27 October at 12:31 PM.
We know that the iPhone X is priced at Rs 89,000 for 64GB and Rs 1,02,000 for the 256GB variant, making it the most expensive iPhone ever to make its way to India. So, it’ll be worth watching if buyers are keen to splurge big on the most hyped iPhone variant this year.
This is also the first time when iPhone ditches the traditional Touch ID, which has been replaced with Face ID for authentication on the special edition iPhone.

In addition to the iPhone X, Google is also making its presence felt with the launch of the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL slated for 27 October (yes, that’s right).
While, Google might find it hard to match the brand hype with that of the iPhone X, but it’s worth knowing that the Pixel v2.0 goes up for pre-order exclusively on Flipkart from 26 October midnight. The deliveries will begin from 1 November, Flipkart confirmed.
Google Pixel 2 is priced at Rs 61,000, while the Pixel 2 XL is priced at Rs 73,000 for the 64GB variant this year. Both Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL pack a single unit rear camera, misses out on headphone jack and runs on Android Oreo out of the box.
