Auto manufacturers keep coming out with concept models to showcase what their future products may look like and, sometimes, these designs are absolutely crazy in terms of practicality but great to look at.

Yamaha has come out with one such concept scooter called ‘04GEN’ and it has been designed to replicate a swan, literally. It even has wings. The scooter was unveiled during the first Vietnam Motorcycle Show, which will go on from April 7 to April 10, 2016.

Based on Yamaha’s RUN platform, which stands for Revolutionary, Unique and Noble, the wings are made from translucent material and fold down to cover the side panels. In place of the instrument cluster, there is a smartphone, which means that the scooter may have internet connectivity.

As of now, there is no announcement regarding if and when the 04GEN will become a production model, and it seems like there won’t be any such announcement coming soon as well. Honestly, do you really need a scooter with wings on it?
