Triumph India has launched the Triumph Tiger 800 XCA in India at Rs 15.16 lakh. The 800cc adventure motorcycle is being offered with an inline-three cylinder engine that is capable of pushing out 95bhp of maximum power at 9,500rpm and 79Nm of peak torque at 8,050rpm.
The newly launched XCA model sits at the top of an lustrous lineup of Triumph motorcycles which comprises of the 800 XR, XRx and the XCx.
The new Triumph Tiger 800 XCA competes with the likes of more powerful Ducati Multistrada 950 which costs Rs 12.16 lakh and also the BMW F 850 GS Pro Rallye which comes in at Rs 12.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
Some of the features which are exclusive to the XCA are a full-LED headlamp cluster setup, a centre stand, backlit switchgear, an aluminium sump guard, an aluminium radiator guard.
In addition to the above, the new Tiger 800 XCA also comes with six riding modes - Road, Off-road, Off-Road Pro, Sport, Track and an additional Rider Customisable mode.
The XCA also gets a few more display modes on the TFT screen and a pair of LED auxiliary lamps and other additions include heated seats and grips.
The newest addition to the Tiger lineup comes equipped with the same 21-inch front and 17-inch front-rear wheel combination as on the 1,200cc XCx. Suspension duties are being taken care of by 43mm upside down front fork and rear monoshock.
On the front the bike comes with 305mm discs with Brembo two-piston calipers, while rear braking is taken care of by a 255mm disc with single-piston caliper.
