1. Review: Mahindra TUV300 is Surprisingly Awesome

‘Inspired by a battle tank’ is what we were told when Mahindra first spoke of the TUV300 at a press briefing in Mumbai a month before its official launch. Upon seeing it in the flesh, the design is far from that, and bears a closer resemblance to the Jeep Cherokee from up front and the Range Rover when viewed in profile. The result of this design effort actually cannot be criticised, for the TUV300 has ended up with a design that can best be described as personable.

2. First Drive: The All New Ford Figo Is a Fully Loaded Hatchback

The Figo hatch descends straight from the philosophy of the Figo Aspire sedan which was launched just a few months ago. But thanks to the weight it has shed from the back, it’s about 20kg lighter than its sedan sibling.

We recently got a chance to drive both the Diesel and Petrol Automatic versions of the car along with Vikram Gour from MotorScribes and we think that the new Figo has got what it takes to compete with the likes of Hyundai’s i20, Maruti Suzuki’s Swift and Ritz and also Honda’s new Jazz.

3. India’s 125cc National Champion S Sarath’s Love for Racing

S Sarath Kumar is just 23 years old, one of India’s professional motorcycle road racers and a national champion in the 125cc class.

Sarath began his racing career in 2008 with the Ten10 Racing Team and competed in the 125cc class in the 2011 MotoGP.
