Skoda is the latest entrant into the sub-10 lakh segment, with its Rapid sedan in the country. With prices starting from Rs 8.27 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi), Skoda hopes to give brands like Volkswagen and Honda a run for their money.
The facelift variant of sedan will be available in petrol/diesel version, powered by 1.6 and 1.5-litre engine, respectively. You get to choose between 3/5 and 7-gear transmission, wherein the automatic variant is only available in diesel.

The Renault Kwid AMT is out, and it’s not for the automotive purist. This review and indeed this car is not for you.
Priced at Rs 4.25 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), Renault has played its cards rather smartly. The Kwid AMT only costs Rs 30,000 more than the manual version, and 25K more than what you pay for the Alto AMT.
