The Delhi Auto Expo 2016 began with the launch of the much anticipated Maruti Suzuki’s compact SUV Vitara Brezza. Renault India is having a good run with the launch of their latest offering, the Kwid, and the company has unveiled the car’s three new versions, along with a facelift of one of their bestselling models – the Renault Duster.
The Kwid has managed to gain some momentum in the entry level hatchback segment. It emerged as a rival to the mighty Maruti Suzuki Alto since Alto has been dominating every other offering in the segment.
The Duster, on the other hand, was getting outdated as compared to the other offerings in the segment like the Ford EcoSport and Hyundai’s Creta.

Moving beyond super cars and bikes, this year’s Auto Expo in Delhi also has its fair share of electric vehicles that will shape the future.
JBM Auto, along with Solaris have designed and created the Ecolife which is said to be a 100 percent electric passenger vehicle.
This electric bus is said to take up to 6 hours of charging, which helps the bus cover up to 200 km.

The Bikerni, founded in 2011, is an all-women group of passionate bikers – the “first All-Female Motorcycle Association of India”, according to their Facebook page.
