Imagine a barber who commutes to work in a Rolls Royce!
As strange as that may sound, given that the words barber and Rolls Royce aren’t used together often, it is the story of Ramesh Babu, a Bengaluru resident.
Ramesh started out as a 14-year-old boy who ran errands, before joining his family’s barber shop at the age of 18. In 1993, he bought his first car, a Maruti Omni on loan. Being unable to pay his EMIs, he was suggested to rent out his car by his aunt and that was the beginning of his success story.
Now, Ramesh has a successful car rental business with over 378 cars in his fleet and a story that’s truly inspiring.
