Mahindra showcased the Ssangyong Tivoli at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo and the car got a lot of attention due to its modern looks.
Mahindra, which owns 70 percent of Ssangyong, has not made any announcement about the price or the date of availability of the Tivoli.
The Tivoli is 4,195 mm long, 1,590 mm tall and 1,795 mm wide. It is powered by a 1.6-litre petrol engine connected to a 6-speed transmission that churns out 124 hp of power and 157 Nm of torque.
These specifications make the Tivoli a direct competitor to the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra’s own TUV300. But It is the pricing of this car that will define its success.
The car follows the latest design language of the Korean automaker Ssangyong, and the muscular and curvy lines make it a definite head turner.
