The fact that Mercedes-Benz is India’s most preferred luxury car brand is already known, but no time was this more evident than in 2017 when the company created history by recording its highest sales figure ever. The auto major, that swears by excellence, sold a mind-boggling 15,330 units in India last year. Yes, you read that right! It was easily their best year in India. That’s not all. In 2017, the company continued to maintain its leadership position in the Indian luxury car space for the third consecutive year. Looks like, when it comes to luxury, we just can’t seem to think beyond Mercedes-Benz, which is saying a lot.

The auto major is confident of keeping the winning streak going in 2018 as well and their guiding philosophy for the new year is #BestKeepsLeading. Like every year, this year too they’re all set to delight the Indian consumer and have planned some really big launches. They will be unveiling the Mercedes-Maybach S 650 at Auto Expo 2018. This will mark the India debut of this luxury sedan, that combines the perfection of the S-Class and exclusivity of the Maybach. Can’t wait already!

That brand Mercedes is synonymous with luxury is a given, but they are also committed towards creating a sustainable ecosystem of technologies and services in India. To this end, they will showcase ‘Concept EQ’ at the expo, where EQ stands for Electric Intelligence. They plan to introduce ‘EQ’ brand of battery electric vehicles in the country soon. This means along with being luxurious, your car will now also be environment-friendly. It doesn’t end here. Auto Expo 2018 has another surprise for you. The car maker will be showcasing the versatile and SUV-like all-rounder new E-Class All Terrain, which will be available in the Indian market later in 2018. Quite an impressive line-up there, isn’t it?
