The big daddy of Indian SUV companies, Mahindra & Mahindra unveiled the eagerly anticipated XUV Aero concept model at the Auto Expo 2016. The model was launched by Mahindra chairman Anand Mahindra.
The concept model of XUV Aero has been designed in-house by the company’s Mumbai-based Mahindra Design Studio. The XUV Aero is a coupe crossover SUV which adds aerodynamic styling to the existing XUV 500 model and a bolder stance.
The car features the mHawk 210HP engine, which the company claims can take you from 0-60 km/h in 6 seconds flat. But hey, hit the brakes there. The company has no immediate plans to get it on the roads soon. You know how concept cars translate into actual production models, right? We’re keeping our fingers crossed.
Mahindra also announced that Ssang Yong and Mahindra will make Tivoli in collaboration for the Indian market.
