India’s Top Woman Biker Veenu Paliwal Passes Away in Road Mishap

Daredevil biker Veenu Paliwal, also known as the ‘Lady of Harley’ was on a road-trip from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.

Noted woman biker Veenu Paliwal, also known as the “Lady of Harley” passed away after a road mishap on Tuesday. Paliwal died after her two-wheeler skidded off a road near Gyaraspur town in the Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh.

Jaipur-based Paliwal (44) was on a motorcycle trip from Kashmir to Kanyakumari with her companion Dipesh Tanwar. The duo had reached Lucknow safely as a part of the trip.

Paliwal and Tanwar then started their journey from Lucknow during early hours of Monday for Bhopal on separate Harley Davidson bikes. Both the riders had their safety gears on.

Paliwal’s motorcycle skidded off the road near Gyaraspur and was seriously hurt, according to police. After primary treatment at Gyaraspur, she was referred to Vidisha for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries.

Bikers and motorcycle enthusiast from all across the country have mourned her death on social media.

Actor John Abraham tweeted his condolences as a fellow biker while others felt that she ‘rode away in style.’
