Formula One requires companies to follow a certain set of rules and regulations while designing a car in order to maintain safety standards and give all competitors a level-playing field.

McLaren has designed a beast on four wheels that follows none of these rules.

The F1 rules are followed by all participating brands and hence, they all come up with cars that look almost the same and deliver similar lap times.
