On the second day of Delhi Auto Expo 2016 media preview, the motor show had some cool new launches, more celebrities and a whole lot of glitz.

Mahindra kicked off the consumer vehicle launches for the day by introducing the XUV Aero concept. Mahindra has specifically claimed that they have no immediate plans to launch the coupé SUV, and it’s just to gauge the audience interest.

Taking futuristic designs to another level were the two concept cars released by Maruti Suzuki. The cars would be launched under the company’s premium Nexa brand and will be made available in the second half of 2016.

Speaking of futuristic technology and cars at the same time, the ‘Transformers’ cannot be given a miss. Seen here are humanoid KUV1OO and TUV3OO along with other Mahindra models at their Auto Expo stall. However, we wonder if Optimus Prime approves.

Hyundai also tried to go the Transformers way, but people were more excited about getting clicked.

The true-blue snap-worthy moments came, however, when the stars descended at various stalls of the Auto Expo.

John Abraham was spotted at two stalls, Yamaha and Nissan.

The Indian cricketing legend, Sachin Tendulkar, who was present at the BMW stall as it unveiled two of its cars on the first day, attended the event on the second day as well. This time, posing with the MRF performance racing car.

Talking of cricket, our lens also spotted IPL cricketer Piyush Chawla checking out one of the bikes at the expo. Yes, we recognised him.

We also saw the self-confessed biking enthusiast, Gul Panag, adding glitz to the classy launch of Triumph’s new range of Bonneville bikes.

There was special food served to the Tata group after the launch of its new range of Trucks.

Naturally, as soon as the counter opened, people reached out for the spread, like nobody’s business. Whoever said there are no free lunches?

There were other goodies to keep the visitors hooked. Lots of them.
