In the post match conference after the India-Pakistan tie, Man of the Match Rohit Sharma gave an epic reply to a Pakistani reporter that made everyone present in the room, crack up.

A Pakistani reporter before congratulating Rohit for his excellent performance, asked him what advice he would give as a colleague to the Pakistan batsmen.

To which the Indian vice-captain replied in a very modest yet amusing manner saying, that he would only give them advice if he became the Pakistan team’s coach.

“If I become the coach of Pakistan then surely I will tell you. What can I say now! (Agar main Pakistan ka coach bana to main bataunga, abhi kya bataunga),” joked Rohit.

Hitman also talked about how the team was waiting to play a full game as they lost a point after their previous clash with the Black caps got washed out. He emphasised on how getting these two points were very important for the team since they were in good form.

Rohit credited the birth of his new-born daughter for his good head space and form.

“It’s just the space I’m in right now; having a newly born daughter in my life has put me in a really good space. I am enjoying my cricket coming off from a great IPL campaign. Here we were focused on starting well and I think as a team we are heading in the right direction.”

With his 113-ball 140, Rohit Sharma recorded the highest score in an India-Pakistan World Cup match.

India continued their winning streak against Pakistan in the World Cup (7-0) as they beat by 89 runs at Old Trafford on Sunday (DLS Method).
