Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli is not the one to shy away from a challenge. A day after Union Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore gave him a #FitnessChallenge, Kohli not only completed it but also nominated Prime Minister Narendra Modi to undertake it.
Known for his fitness and stamina, Kohli in a video message said that he accepted the minister’s challenge and went on to do twenty spider planks, which he called his “core exercise.”
Kohli also nominated his wife Anushka Sharma, and ‘Captain Cool’ Mahendra Singh Dhoni, along with PM Modi to undertake the #FitnessChallenge.
Rathore on Tuesday, 22 May, urged the country to take on a #FitnessChallenge under the #HumFitTohIndiaFit campaign. He posted a video on Twitter, even showing how it is done.
Not just that, the minister threw the challenge to cricketer Virat Kohli, actor Hrithik Roshan, and badminton champ Saina Nehwal – and all of them took up the challenge.
Here are the videos posted by Saina Nehwal and Hritik Roshan
Now, let’s wait and watch if the Prime Minister accepts the challenge from the Captain.
