Tottenham striker and English skipper Harry Kane on Friday met Indian skipper Virat Kohli at the Lord's cricket ground.
Kane took to Twitter to post a picture of the two. He also wrote: 'After a few tweets in the last couple of years good to finally meet @imVkohli. A great guy and a brilliant sportsman.'
After the picture, Kane and Kohli were spotted having a conversation. The meeting at Lord's' training ground was the first time the duo met.
While Kohli is in England for the cricket World Cup which gets underway from 30 May, Kane is prepping up for the mercurial UEFA Champions League final clash against Liverpool on 1 June.
In fact, Kane, who is recovering from an injury, is expected to feature in the final after Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino revealed Kane has started to train and has entered the final stage of his recovery.
On the other hand, Virat Kohli is expected to lead India in their first warm-up match against New Zealand at The Oval on Saturday.
