The ‘babysitter’ banter shows no signs of dying!

Barely a week after a post on Bonnie Paine’s Instagram handle showing Rishabh Pant posing with her and her kids during a ceremonial lunch at the Australian Prime Minister’s residence ahead of the Sydney Test broke the internet, Tim Paine’s wife is at it again.

The Australian Test captain’s wife sought Pant’s ‘babysitting’ help again in a story posted on her Instagram handle on Wednesday, 9 January.

‘Babysitter’ has been the buzz word around the 21-year-old Indian wicketkeeper since the third Test of the recently-concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia at Melbourne.

Australian captain Paine had pulled Pant’s legs with a ‘request’ for him to babysit his kids after the end of the Test series: “... Extend your little Aussie holiday. Beautiful town Hobart too, I'll get you a nice apartment on the waterfront. (I'll) have him over for dinner. Can you babysit? I'll take the wife to the movies one night and you'll look after the kids,” Paine was heard saying on the stump mic.

While Pant didn’t cower down, and had his own share of talking to do when Paine came to the batting crease, the Indian glovesman became an internet sensation when his picture with the Paine family was released by Bonnie along with the caption ‘Best babysitter’.

The moment was lapped up by audiences everywhere, with Indian fans even making a chant out of Pant’s babysitting ways as heard during the Sydney Test.
