Pakistan suffered a heavy loss against West Indies in their opening game of the ICC World Cup 2019 which saw the team getting bundled for just 105 runs. The West Indies batsmen didn’t break a sweat and chased the total down in under 14 overs.

However, the video of Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed’s press conference is going viral for all the wrong reasons.

Apparently, some notorious social media users shared screenshots of the press conference claiming that Sarfaraz broke down during the conference and started crying.

However, on watching the original video, one can easily figure out that Sarafaraz isn’t really crying and is only wiping his face and adjusting his cap.

Here is the video:

Pakistan has now lost 11 consecutive one day internationals and have been at the receiving end more often than not. They would soon like to regroup and significantly improve their performance if they are to compete in this World Cup.

Next up, they face England on 3 June who are touted as one of the favorites to lift the World Cup. The last time Pakistan faced England they lost the series 4-0 and failed to defend 340 plus totals a couple of times.

England will look to be at their attacking best, while Pakistan too would look to raise their game in order to compete with the dangerous English team.
