Former West Indies legend Vivian Richards took to twitter to praise Indian skipper Virat Kohli after he stamped his authority with yet another sublime innings of career-best 94 not out as India pulled off their highest successful run chase in a T20I to beat West Indies by six wickets.

The earlier highest successful run chase for India in a T20I was the 207 against Sri Lanka in Mohali in 2009.

KL Rahul also struck an impressive 62 off just 40 balls to help India chase down the target of 208 with eight balls to spare.

Viv Richards was not the only one to appreciate the Indian skipper and team on twitter. Many celebrities also took to twitter to congratulate the Indian team.

Cricket expert and commentator Harsha Bhogle wrote, “Was worth coming to Hyderabad to watch this Virat special. Top hand and bottom, off side and leg, drive and pull....everything. And those two sixes! The bottom handed over mid-wicket and the last one over cover. Breathtaking!”
