Pant came into bat in the 9th over and constructed a well-played knock to help Delhi reach a score of some respectability. Pant kept playing his shots as he kept losing his partners at the other end.
He scored a 25-ball 38 and lost his wicket in the 19th over as Delhi’s innings didn’t get the momentum it needed. Some lusty blows from Amit Mishra and Ishant Sharma helped Delhi finish their innings on 147/9.
Delhi Capitals are looking to seal their first-ever IPL final spot.
Even Twitter hailed Suresh Raina for his gesture during such the do-or-die game.
