Virat Kohli gives a lot of time to cricket, but ‘down time’ is all about family.
The Indian captain – on a rare break from the frenetic calendar of international cricket – is making the most of his time away from the game, as he enjoys a holiday with Bollywood star and wife Anushka Sharma.
Kohli, who was given a rest for the last two ODIs of India’s ongoing series in New Zealand as well as the upcoming T20I series to wrap the tour, shared a post on his social media handles with a picture of him and Sharma posing in a romantic embrace.
Kohli had earlier shared a picture of the duo kick-starting their break, which began hours after the Indian team secured a series win in New Zealand by going 3-0 up in the five-match series with victory in the third ODI at Mount Maunganui.
Anushka, too, has been posting pictures from the rare get-away for India’s most-followed couple, on social media or otherwise.
Before the current break in New Zealand, Virat and Anushka – who got married in December 2017 after a prolonged period together – had also managed to find time to see the sights and sounds of Australia, while the Indian team created history Down Under.
Kohli even met Roger Federer when the couple paid a visit to the Australian Open in Melbourne.
