The decision proved out to be right as the two-time world champions got their first wicket in the third over with Imam-ul-Haq getting trapped off a short delivery.
And that was the story of the Pakistani batting order, short and fast bowling from the West Indies’ bowlers was too good for the 1992 World Cup winners.
And Twitter couldn’t contain themselves as Pakistan collapsed to their second lowest score in World Cup history.
Harsha Bhogle wrote on his Twitter account, “Afraid Pakistan are getting bullied by pace.........”
Ironically, Pakistan did go on to lose their first game in 1992 World Cup to West Indies, which they eventually went onto win.
