Defending champions Patna Pirates defeated Dabang Delhi 36-34 in the 95th match of the Pro Kabaddi Leagu at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex in Delhi.

Sitting atop Zone B, the Pirates now have 65 points from 18 matches. Dabang Delhi, on the other hand, are languishing at the bottom of the Zone A table, with just 31 points from 16 matches.

Patna Pirates' Pardeep Narwal was the star of the game with 14 raid points to his credit, and was adjudged the perfect raider of the match.

The Pirates gained an upper hand early on in the game, which helped them secure the win over Delhi by a slender margin.

The Pirates will next face Gujarat Fortunegiants on 29 September, while Delhi will be up against UP Yoddha on 27 September.
