WWE arrives in India on 9 December, locked and loaded with a talent-rich roster to light up the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi for a one-night-only mega event.

The latest wrestler to have thrown his name into the hat is none other than the COO and Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, Paul Levesque, better known as Triple H.

Wrestling in the main event, Triple H will be taking on Jinder Mahal — a superstar that has taken the WWE by storm these past few months by going on to capture the WWE Championship and defending it against a murderous row of top-tier challengers.

Shoring up the rest of the card are other must-see attractions like the Shield, Braun Strowman, Kane, Finn Bálor and India's very own Jeet Rama and Kishan Raftar. So without further ado, let's run through the entire match card and preview the night's entertainment.

Triple H vs Jinder Mahal

Triple H posted a video on Facebook a few days back, asking India if they wanted to see him wrestle former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, and their response was predictably emphatic.

So not only do we get to see the modern day Maharaja in action, but we also get to see him take on the King of Kings in the day's blockbuster headlining act. Who will prevail in a one-time dream clash of royal proportions? Will Triple H add another marquee name to the laundry list of Superstars he's already conquered? Or can Jinder Mahal claim the coveted scalp of the 15-time World Champion and send the crowd home on a high?

The Shield vs Samoa Joe and The Bar

Whether they cheer him or boo him in the USA, it's quite possible that Roman Reigns will receive the loudest 'pop' of the night when he descends to the ring alongside his Shield brethren, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.

However, the trio will have their hands full with the team of Samoa Joe and the Bar, three of the meanest and nastiest Superstars in the WWE today.

Will the Hounds of Justice give Delhi a first-hand taste of exactly why they are considered to be the most dominant stable in recent WWE history? Or will their tough-as-nails opponents throw a spanner in the works?

Braun Strowman vs Kane

What is a WWE event without a classic irresistible force versus immovable object match-up? Earth-shaking action beckons as two of WWE's resident behemoths Braun Strowman and Kane resume their hard-hitting rivalry to determine who is more dominant.

Will the Monster Among Men prove just why he is well on his way to becoming the most fearsome big man in WWE history with another punishing display? Or will Kane give everyone a nefarious reminder that he is, and always will be, the devil's most trusted aide?

Finn Bálor vs Bray Wyatt

Two of the WWE's most ethereal characters clash in this bruising rivalry that has spanned over a few months now, with no resolution yet in sight. Finn Balor flies into India with all the momentum, having already defeated Bray Wyatt before. But what he has not done is come up against a force as sinister and willful as Sister Abigail.

And just as they were about to clash at TLC to settle their differences once and for all, Wyatt was struck down with a virus and deemed unfit to participate. Will Delhi play host to the final showdown between these two nether-worldly Superstars?

RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss vs Sasha Banks

Alexa Bliss' run as the Raw Women's Champion has had its share of trials, but somehow the Goddess of WWE manages to emerge on the other end with the strap still around her waist every time. Although, going up against a 4-time Women's Champion and one of the best wrestlers in the roster in Sasha Banks is no mean feat, and Little Miss Bliss has to be on her A-game to stand a chance.

Will Alexa Bliss consolidate her standing as a dominant Champion with a resume boosting victory over Sasha Banks? Or will the Boss' bid to regain the Raw Women's Championship gather momentum with an elusive victory over the Goddess?

Jason Jordan vs Elias

Kurt Angle may not be flying down to entertain the Indian fans, but we do get to see his son, Jason Jordan, compete against the dangerous Elias in a single's match. Also, it's highly likely that Delhi will be treated to one of Elias' catchy tunes and, if we're lucky, see the guitar being smashed over his head for his troubles too!

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore vs Kalisto

The Certified G arrives in India with a spring in his step, having won back the WWE Cruiserweight Title from Kalisto following a brief reverse prior to TLC.

What will Smack-talker Skywalker have to say as he seeks to further the Cruiserweight envelop in his brash yet indelible style? And more importantly, how will he deal with the speed, athleticism and gravity-defying skills of Kalisto as the diminutive Luchador looks to push him to the limit once again?

Apollo Crews and Titus O’Neil vs Gallows and Anderson

The Titus Brand Worldwide looks to plant its roots in Indian soil as the entertaining duo of Titus O'Neil and Apollo Crews take on the world travelled Good Brothers in tag team action.

Titus and Apollo will consider a victory over the former Raw Tag Team Champions as an important step in proving that they have the potential to be major players in the tag team division. But with victories hard to come by of late, Anderson and Gallows themselves will be on the lookout for a change in fortunes

Jeet Rama & Kishan Raftar vs The Miztourage

Two Indian wrestlers, currently plying their trade in the developmental territory of NXT, will set the ball rolling on the night's proceedings as they team up to take on Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel.

Having benefitted from the Miz's savvy guidance, Dallas and Axel are expected to walk over the unheralded duo of Rama and Raftar easily. But a stadium teeming with fans that are pulling for them is bound to spur the Indian Superstars on to unprecedented heights.

Are we in for a shock upset to set the tone for what promises to be a rollicking night of action and entertainment? Be sure to book your ticket good and early, deck out in WWE merchandise, grab some popcorn and Coke... and we'll see you there on 9 December!
