Iran’s Fazel Atrachali became the first player to be bought for Rs 1 crore after he was bagged by U Mumba on Wednesday.
Ravinder Kumar, Nitin Mavi and Sandeep Hooda go unsold in the last leg of the Category C auctions.

After a series of unsold players, 33-year-old Maharashtra player Mahesh Magdum sold for the base price of Rs 8 lakh to Bengaluru Bulls.

Tamil Thalaivas pick up Surjeet Singh for Rs 12 Lakh
Tamil Nadu raider Chandran Ranjit attracted interest from U Mumba, Dabang Delhi and Tamil Thalaivas. But eventually he was picked up by Delhi for Rs 61.25 lakh. He is the second athlete on day 2 to breach the Rs 50 lakh-mark.

Prashanth Rai had a very good season with Karnataka winning the Federation Cup. He is the most expensive player on Day 2 till now. That’s it folks! Day 1 of the Pro Kabaddi League auction is all wrapped up with ‘Category A’ Indian players, the international stars and ‘new young stars’ going under the hammer.
A total of six players breached the Rs 1 crore barrier with Monu Goyat emerging as the league’s most expensive player after he was bought by Haryana Steelers for Rs 1.51 crore.
Rahul Chaudhari, Deepak Niwas Hooda, Rishank Devadiga and Nitin Tomar were the other players who breached the six figure mark. Fazel Atrachali is the highest valued international player, sold for Rs 1 crore to U Mumba.

39 PKL matches and 250 raid points to his name but Monu Goyat also attracts a heavy bidding war. He’s left behind Rahul’s bid of Rs 1.29 crore with ease as Mumbai raise the paddle to make it Rs 1.30 crore.
Haryana and Delhi then take it to Rs 1.49 when Patna Pirates join the party at Rs 1.50 crore!
Haryana Steelers than increase it to Rs 1.51 crore and there are no matching bids.
Jaipur Pink Panthers started the bid at Rs 20 lakh and Patna Pirates took it straight to Rs 60 lakh.
The 1 Crore bid also was made by Patna Pirates with matching bids from Delhi and Mumbai. Delhi finally make the winning bid of Rs 1.29 Cr.
However, Telugu Titans use the ‘FBM’ for him and Rahul stays back at his team from last season.
At Rs 1.29 crore, he is now the most expensive player in PKL history.

Nitin was the most expensive player last season having been bought by UP Yoddha for Rs 93 lakh, and the raider once attracted some big bids on Wednesday.
Starting from a base price of Rs 20 lakh, Puneri Paltan took the bid to Rs 1.15 crore and found no one matching the bid. The raider has found a new team and is now the joint most-expensive player of the season (so far).
Having just lost Surendra Nada to Haryana courtesy the ‘Final Bid Match,’ Abhishek Bachchan’s Jaipur Pink Panthers step it up for defender Sandeep Dhull. It’s a bidding war between Gujarat Fortunegiants and JPP and finally, Jaipur come out on top. Sandeep Dhull has been bought for Rs 66 lakh.
There is no ‘Final Bid Match’ here.
UP Yodhas and Jaipur Pink Panthers fight it out for defender Surendra Nada and it is Abhishek Bachchan’s table that comes out on top with a bid of Rs 75 lakh.
But... with Nada having played for Haryana Steelers last season, the auctioneer asks the franchise if they want to use their ‘Final Bid Match’ card and well, they do.
Surendra Nada has been retained Haryana for Rs 75 lakh.
Mohit Chillar had been the most expensive player in PKL when he was bought by Bengaluru Bulls for Rs 53 lakh in 2016 but this time round, the defender could not get near the Rs 1 crore match as Jaipur Pink Panthers added him to their team for Rs 58 lakh.
The defender started on a base price of Rs 20 lakh and was ultimately bought by UP Yoddhas for Rs 45 lakh.
One of the best all-rounders of Pro Kabaddi League, Deepak Hooda has become the first Indian to be bought for Rs 1 crore. In fact, he is the most expensive player in Pro Kabaddi history!
Starting from a base price of Rs 20 lakh, Hooda saw heavy bidding from Dabang Delhi, Haryana Steelers and Jaipur Pink Panthers with Abhishek Bachchan’s franchise finally bagging him for Rs 1.15 crore.

Patna Pirates pick up Kuldeep Singh for a steal at Rs 22 Lakh.
Manjeet Chillar will be with Tamil Thalaivas for Rs 20 Lakh. Jaipur doesn’t use their Final Bid Match card.
All-rounder Ran Singh Goes to Bengal Warriors for Rs 43 Lakh after Jaipur Pink Panthers successfully bid for him but the Warriors exercise their Final Bid Match card.

Two sessions of auction are over with the ‘new young players’ and international stars going under the hammer. 6pm is when we start with Category A of the Indian players and here’s what the teams look like so far.
Bengal Warriors, Puneri Paltan, Telugu Titans, Tamil Thalaivas are the four teams who have less than Rs crore left out of their total Rs 4 crore purse.
Category A of domestic players is up next. That includes stars like Anup Kumar, Rahul Chaudhari, Manjeet Chhillar, Surender Nada, Deepak Niwas Hooda and all the other big names. Their auction starts at 6:30 PM IST
Among the international stars, Iran’s Fazel Atrachali became the first player to breach the Rs 1 crore barrier when he was bought for the sum, registering a 5 times increase from his base price of Rs 20 lakh.
His Iranian counterpart, Abozar went to Telugu Titans for 76 Lakh. The Defender Ziaur Rahman was the third highest bid player in the auctions going to Bengal Warriors for 33.25 Lakhs. Jang Kun Lee returns to Bengal Warriors who exercised their Final Bid Match card at 33 Lakh
