Dabang Delhi have had a phenomenal season thus far with the team sitting on top of the Pro Kabaddi League standings for most part of the last two months. This, for a team that usually sat in the bottom half of the table in previous seasons, is quite a drastic improvement.
The credit of this turnaround could be given to Naveen Kumar, the 19-year-old raider who joined the franchise last season and has since been their top scorer. While his skills are certainly exemplary, the young Navy officer is also benefitting from the tips passed on to him by skipper Joginder Singh Narwal, who is one of the best defenders in the league.
