Chelsea captain John Terry will stay at the club for another season.
The 35-year-old defender had said in January he would not be extending his stay. But ahead of Sunday’s final match of the season against Leicester, Chelsea said it would give Terry a deal for another year.
Terry said, “everyone knows I’m Chelsea through and through.”
The former England captain added that he’s looking forward to the next season under the new manager (Antonio Conte) and hoped that Chelsea have a successful season.
Terry has spent his entire career at Chelsea.
