Ben Cutting emerged as the highest wicket taker for Hyderabad with two wickets.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore needed 18 runs from the last over with Sachin Baby and Chris Jordan in the middle. Jordan got run out in the third ball with RCB needing 15 runs from three balls.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar defended the runs and Hyderabad cliched the title for the first time. Royal Challengers Bangalore ended their 20 overs at 200/7.
