Tough challenge lined up for Vijender Singh as he takes on Frenchmen Matiouze Royer in his next pro-Boxing bout on Saturday.
The 30-year-old Indian, who has won four out of four matches, now takes on an opponent with 250 gruelling rounds under his belt. The 29-year-old Royer will be Singh’s most experienced opponent till date.
Undefeated Singh claimed his fourth professional win at the Liverpool Echo Arena last month with a blistering fourth round stoppage of Hungarian Alexander Horvath. And this time around, he takes the fight to the Copper Box Arena, London.
Vijender is well aware of his opponent as he said:
“2016 is shaping up to be a massive year for me. I have a busy few months ahead and will be looking to carry on my knockout streak with another big performance against Royer,” he further added.
