India put up a yet another clinical performance against Pakistan. But Pakistan played much better as compared to their previous matches against India.
India led throughout the match after Chinglensana found the back of the net in the 17th minute. After the ball moving to and fro from both the goals for 27 minutes, Ramandeep slid to guide a pass into the goal in the 44th minute.
And just a minute later, Harmanpreet converted a penalty corner.
In the 49th minute, Pakistan managed to pull one back through Ali Shan, but it was a bit too late.
India remained the aggressor in the final 12 minutes and closed out the match with a 3-1 victory.
Harmapreet believes that as he tried to get hold of the pass given by Ramandeep, a Pakistani player kicked the ball.
But, replays show that the Pakistani player didn’t kick the ball, hence India lose their referal.
Arslan Qadir fails to pull off a finish, but the ball deflects to Ali Shan. The Pakistani receives the ball and strikes it near the right post.
Pakistan pull one back in the 49th minute.
India lead 3-1.
India are right on top! Just before the end of the third quarter, Harmanpreet receives the ball from Ramandeep and pulls off a clean strike at the Pakistan goal.
The Pakistani goalkeeper fails to sight the ball properly and watches it hit the net behind him.
India lead 3-0.
India find another goal! Manpreet Singh feeds a ball from the right flank into the Pakistan goal area. Ramandeep slides from the left and guides the ball into the goal.

Manpreet Singh feeds the ball, Varun Kumar receives it and strikes the ball just outside the left post.
India still lead 1-0, 40 minutes gone!
Akash Chikte has just entered the game in place of Karkera and manages to pull off a brilliant save. A Pakistan player goes one-on-one with Chikte. The Indian goalkeeper comes up at the right time and pushes the ball away with his toes.
Surender Kumar provides back-up for his keeper and keeps the ball away from danger.
Pakistan have to play 5 minutes with only 9 men. First, Muhammad Rizwan effected a harsh challenge on India’s captain Manpreet Singh and then the Pakistan captain Abu Mahmood received a yellow card for stick change.
India have to make use of these precious 5 minutes.
India have been the better side in the second quarter. They have made more chances than Pakistan and also found the back of the net through Chinglensana Singh’s shot.
However, Pakistan have defended brilliantly so far. It’s their strikers that have let the team down.
Pakistan had the best opportunity to equalise, but it was not to be. Through a penalty corner, Pakistan went for a shot before Karkera coolly pushed the ball over the goal.
India still lead 1-0.
Finally, India manages to break the dead-lock. Akashdeep Singh makes the run through the left flank and stops to find Chinglensana Singh (centre) standing in a perfect position to score.
Akashdeep passes the ball and Chinglensana moves to his right to find the best angle.
India score two minutes into the second quarter! Go 1-0 up!
Ramandeep Singh managed to receive a pass in the Pakistan goal area, but just couldn’t find a way to net the ball.
Both the teams are making runs, but are not able to create chances. India and Pakistan are adamant not to concede any goal.
The first quarter ends with a scoreline of 0-0.
The two teams seam to be in toe-to-toe with each other for the moment. The Indian forwards are making all the right moves but the Pakistan defense line is adamant to save all attacks.
Even the Indian defense line is presently at its best!
