Indian football team will be playing Bangladesh in their second FIFA World Cup qualifier on Tuesday, 15 October, at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, more popularly known as Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.

In India’s first qualifier, Indian goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu starred for the team as they held Asian champions Qatar to a famous 0-0 draw to earn their first point in a Group E second round match last month.

After the draw against Oman, Indian coach Stimac had urged fans to turn up in big numbers of the home fixture saying, "Our performance against Qatar is an invitation to fans for our next home game. We have heard a lot about the passion for football in Kolkata. I want to see a full house at the YBK Stadium fans in Kolkata for our match against Bangladesh."

The fans responded positively to Stimac’s request. The tickets for India vs Bangladesh match were sold out before the kick-off. The stadium with 85,000 seating capacity is expected to be full on Tuesday.
