India’s premier batter Mithali Raj will miss the India-Australia World T20 clash on Saturday, due to a knee injury. The opening batter, who has scored two half-centuries in the tournament, sustained a knee injury during the match against Ireland.
The Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and elected to bat against Australia in a group B match in Guyana.
India made two changes, bringing in Anuja Patil in place of Mithali Raj and replacing Mansi Joshi with Arundhati Reddy.
Australia, on the other hand, brought Tayla Vlaeminck in place of Georgia in their only change to the playing XI.
Both the teams have already made it to the semi-finals after winning all the three matches so far.
