In the midst of all the celebrities from cricket and Bollywood who came to attend Sachin Tendulkar’s film – Sachin: A Billion Dreams – premiere in Mumbai on Wednesday, the cricket legend took out time and ensured that his first coach Ramakant Achrekar faced no issues.

The master blaster made sure that a ramp is constructed for his coach to move easily into the auditorium. When Sachin’s coach arrived for the premiere, the former cricketer left everybody and went to receive him.

It was a humbling sight to watch the Master Blaster Sachin at his candid best. On hearing about the arrival of his coach, Sachin hurriedly proceeded to the entrance to receive him. On greeting his coach, Sachin modestly touched his feet and gently led the wheelchair to the stage.

The Indian cricket team, Sachin’s family, friends, Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani and some members from the film industry such as Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, AR Rahman, Anushka Sharma, and Sagarika Ghatge among others attended the premiere.

Sachin’s brother Ajit had taken him to Ramakant Achrekar for cricket coaching back in 1984. Achrekar was the guiding light in the cricketer’s life throughout his career.
