North Mumbai Panthers won the second edition of the T20 Mumbai league after they beat Sobo Supersonics in the final by 12 runs on Sunday, 26 May.
It is worth noting that Shaw made sure that his team crosses the line, despite suffering an injury midway through the innings.
Prtithvi Shaw has been on fire during the league, having scored 249 runs in six matches with 3 half centuries at a strike rate of 149.10.
His highest score came against ARCS Andheri where the youngster scored a magnificent 76.
He is also the highest run scorer of the league and is preceded by Aditya Tare of Eagle Thane Strikers, who has scored a total of 244 runs.
After coming back from the injury which he suffered in Australia, Shaw has not been at his usual best.
He had a very ordinary outing in this year’s IPL where he scored 353 runs in 16 matches with just 2 half centuries against his name.
Shaw, in all probability, will be seen playing for team India after the World Cup when they tour the West Indies for Test matches.
As of now, Shaw seems to have found his mojo back which has earned him the title of “The next big thing in Indian cricket”
