Australia batsman Marnus Labuschagne on Friday, 29 November, overtook his teammate Steve Smith to become the leading Test run-scorer In 2019.
Labuschagne, the first ever concussion substitute in the history of Test cricket, scored his second Test century against Pakistan on Friday, 29 November in the first innings of the second Test match.
This is his second century of the series. He scored 185 runs in the first Test match in Brisbane, which Australia won by an innings and 5 runs.
Marnus has scored 793 runs in nine Test matches and is sitting on the top of the table of the leading Test run-scorer in 2019. Just behind him is his teammate, Steve Smith, with a score of 778 from six matches.
Smith is followed by Indian opener, Mayank Agarwal, who has had a dream home season, scoring 754 runs from eight matches including two double centuries.
Ben Stokes is at number four with 746 runs, followed by Ajinkya Rahane with 642 runs.
Surprisingly, Indian Captain, Virat Kohli occupies the 7th spot on the list with 612 runs from eight matches.
