The driving force behind Jaydev Unadkat's hat trick could well have been a little boy's advice! Turns out Omkar Pawar had given Rising Pune Supergiant pacer Jaydev Unadkat tips for taking a hat-trick in Pune a few days before Jaydev actually pulled off the feat.
Omkar advised Unadkat not to grip the ball by its seam, and instead grip it across the seam "to get a hat-trick".

Jaydev Unadkat picked up the 17th hat-trick of the Indian Premier League in the 44th match of this season on Saturday.
Unadkat was given the responsibility of defending 13 runs in the last over of the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad and he replied with a hat-trick. Pune won the match by 12 runs. Watch the hat-trick here:
