India eased to a series win against West Indies with a punishing 71-run win in the second T20I at Lucknow, giving the hosts an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Captain Rohit Sharma was the star of the show, smashing an unbeaten 111 off just 61 balls – in the process becoming the first man to score four hundreds in T20 internationals.

It was an innings laced with records for the 31-year-old, as he also overtook regular skipper Virat Kohli as India’s highest run-getter in the shortest format.

Needless to say, Twitter was abuzz with reactions to another sterling effort.
