Team India’s batting got a reality check on Thursday as they were dismissed for a paltry 92 in the 30.5 overs by New Zealand in the fourth ODI in Hamilton. This is India’s seventh lowest total in ODIs.
Trent Boult was the wrecker-in-chief for New Zealand as he finished with figures of 5/21 in his allotted 10 overs.
Team India were missing the service of Virat Kohli, who has been rested for the last two ODIs of the series, and MS Dhoni, who is nursing an injury.Rohit Sharma is leading the side in the absence of Kohli.
Earlier in the day, New Zealand won the toss and chose to field on a track where the bowl was doing a lot. Shubman Gill was brought in place of Kohli, who made his debut for the senior team on Thursday but unfortunately could score only nine runs before being dismissed.
