Despite Sushant Mishra picking up another wicket, Bangladesh are now just 68 runs away from victory although they have just four wickets in hand. Ravi Bishnoi is turning the tide around for India. The wily leg spinner hands his side yet another wicket as India slowly claw back into the match. It was anther wrong’un and Towhid Hridoy was stranded without moving his feet much as Bishnoi cleaned him up in the 15th over.

Kartik Tyagi leaks 13 runs in his first over as Tanzid Hasan smashes him for two boundaries. Tyagi was pretty erratic with his line and length in the over.

Shoriful dismisses in-form Yashasvi Jaiswal on 88. The left-handed opener tried to loft one over mid-wicket but cramped for room, only finds the fielder at short mid-wicket. His 121-ball knock was laced with eight boundaries and a six.

This is the Mumbai batsman’s fourth half century of this 2020 Under-19 World Cup with the last fifty being converted into a century, against Pakistan in the semi-final.
It may just be an Under-19 match but the fixture clearly has the interest of some of the biggest stars of the game. 11pm in New Zealand right now but the Indian men’s cricket team are staying up to watch the young stars fight it out against Bangladesh.
37 off 62 for Yashasvi Jaiswal and 18 off 41 for Tilak Varma and India have got 63 on the board after the first 20 overs.
Bangladesh’s bowlers are keeping it tight but the Indian pair of Tilak Varma and Jaiswal too aren’t going for any rash shots as the opener has now made 27 off 49 and Varma is on 9 off 24.
Saxena’s wicket brings in Tilak Varma in the middle and Jaiswal welcomes him with the match’s first boundary, in the 8th over.
The 9th though is a bit eventful with Varma getting hit on the knee with the ball while taking a run. He collapses on the ground and the physio rushes in but he’s back at the crease soon enough. 2 balls later, Jaiswal hits the second boundary of the match.

Avishek Das, Bangladesh’s one change for the match, has picked up the first wicket of the game, off just his third ball of the day.
The Indian openers were put in a tough spot by the Bangladeshi bowlers at the start of the innings and Divyaansh Saxena has perished after lasting 17 balls. Out for 2.

Bangladesh’s bowlers are keeping it tight at the start of the innings as Jaiswal and Saxena too are playing it cautiously. No rash shots and no risky runs as the duo post 7 runs in the first 5 overs.
Openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Divyaansh Saxena have started the innings for India and after some tight bowling by the Bangladeshis, India open their account off the second ball of the third over.
Virat Kohli and his Indian team too have sent wishes to the young Indian under-19 team as they start this final against Bangladesh. The senior team are tweeting wishes and the BCCI’s official handle too has posted a video of Virat and co.
Unbeaten in the tournament and skipper Priyam Garg has had a bunch of his players standup and take charge in the matches so far with Yashasvi Jaiswal, spinner Ravi Bishnoi and pacer Kartik Tyagi becoming overnight stars with their exploits in South Africa.
India, who beat arch-rivals Pakistan by 10 wickets in the semifinal on Tuesday, are playing their seventh final since 2000 when they lifted the trophy for the first time. The semi-final also saw Jaiswal step up for the team with the bat and ball as they eliminated their old rivals.
Though the Priyam Garg-led Indian side got the better of Bangladesh in the tri-series in England and in the Asia Cup last year, Bangladesh have also always come up with a fight.
Bangladesh captain Akbar Ali has won the toss and elected to bowl first in the final of the 2020 ICC Under-19 World Cup.
He has made one change to his playing XI, brining in Avishek Das in place of Hasan Murad. India are unchanged.

India are aiming to win a record-extending fifth Under-19 World Cup title when they take on Bangladesh in the summit clash at the Senwes Park in Potchefstroom today.
Defending champions India have been dominant so far in the tournament going unbeaten against Sri Lanka, Japan, New Zealand, Australia and Pakistan. The Indian colts, in fact, have won 11 consecutive matches at the age-level competition since their defeat against West Indies in the final of the 2016 edition.
However, Bangladesh aren’t to be taken lightly as Akbar Ali’s side too are unbeaten in the tournament and are looking for their maiden U-19 WC title.
