Swing bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart Nupur Nagar in his hometown Meerut on 23 November, Thursday. The usually shy bowler called Nupur his “better half” on Instagram a month back.
Nupur works as an engineer and her’s and Bhuvneshwar’s families lived in the same neighborhood in Meerut.
The 27-year-old, who was the Man of the Match in the first Test against Sri Lanka, was released from the squad after tie at Eden Gardens.
Rohit Sharma tweeted that “fast bowlers are having good day off the field”, referring to Zaheer Khan who married actor Sagarika Ghatge earlier on Thursday.
