Well, the rains have not given up in the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium at Bengaluru. The match officials have taken an early decision to call off the day’s play due to persistent rains and very wet outfields.

There’s bad news, we are afraid. It has been raining heavily since yesterday, and hence the match has been called off till lunch.

India is on the driver’s seat after ending day 1 at 80/0 after bundling out South Africa for 214 in the first innings.
