Good morning everyone!

Welcome to the coverage of day 4 of the second Test between India and South Africa. Finally, there is some good news. It has been a rain-less morning and the ground staff have managed to dry out most of the water from the outfield as of now.

The match officials will inspect the ground at 10 am and then take a call on the start time of the day. Play is expected to begin at 11 am.

After two consecutive days of rain, the two teams will be raring to go.

Especially the Proteas, since they are 0-1 down in the series and are behind in the second Test after getting all out for 214 on the first day.

India put themselves in a strong position after ending the day’s play at 80/0.
