With this result, the Asian Games for the Indian contingent comes to an end. This was the last event in which an Indian took part at the Games.
India have won a total of 69 medals (15 gold, 24 silver and 30 bronze) in the competition.
There is only one event on Sunday – Triathlon. There is no Indian team in that event.
The last Indian in action at the Asian Games – Siddharth Bajrang Pardeshi is currently competing in the men's 10m platform event. He has recorded a score of 190.70 in three dives.
India have held onto their 2-1 lead and that’s the end of the 60 minutes of this bronze medal match.

After the opening goal, Chinglensana Singh and Mandeep Singh had their chances denied by the Pakistan keeper and the scoreline is 1-0 after the first 15 minutes of this bronze medal match.
Barely two minutes into the match and India have taken a 1-0 lead. Lalit Kumar Upadhyay makes a run on the left flank and passes the ball to Akashdeep who doesn't waste this his chance.

The Indian men’s hockey team are playing Pakistan in the bronze medal match.
Defending champions India lost their semi-final to Malaysia yesterday after a heart-breaking penalty shoot-out, and were denied a direct entry into the 2020 Olympics. Pakistan lost 0-1 to Japan in the other semi-finals.
Joshana has been defeated in the second match, and with that third-seeds India lose 0-2 to second-seeds Hong Kong, China in the final of the women’s squash event.
Indian number one Joshana was no match to world no 11 Au Annie, going down 3-11, 9-11, 6-11.
Earlier in the gold medal tie, rising star Sunayna Kuruvilla lost the opening match 8-11, 6-11, 12-10, 3-11 to Ho Tze Lok.
India have lost the opening match of the women’s squash team final against Hong Kong, China. Sunayna Kuruvilla loses 8-11, 6-11, 12-10, 3-11 to Ho Tze Lok.
Next up is Indian star Joshana Chinappa, who is playing Au Wing Chi Annie in the second match of the tie. Two-time CWG medallist Joshana had defeated seven-time Asian Games gold medallist Nicol David in India’s semi-final tie against top-seeds Malaysia yesterday.
The Indian women’s squash team final against Hong Kong, China is now underway.
Rising star Sunayna Kuruvilla is playing the opening match of the tie against Ho Tze Lok, and has lost the first two games 8-11, 6-11.
The team comprising Joshna Chinappa, Dipika Pallikal Karthik, Tanvi Khanna and Sunayna had defeated top seeds and two-time defending champions Malaysia 2-0 in the semi-final yesterday. They are now assured of at least a silver.
In the Women’s Pair event, the Indian duo of Hema Deora and Marianne Karmarkar finish seventh with a total score of 349.00.
Two Indian teams were also competing in the Mixed Pair event, but neither bag medals. Kiran Nadar and Bachiraju Satyanarayana finish fifth with a total score of 333, while Rajeev Khandelwal and Himani Khandelwal finish seventh out of the 12 participating pairs.
And that is the end of India’s campaign in Bridge at this year’s Asian Games. Three medals have been won – a gold and two bronzes.

Pranab Bardhan and Shibhnath Sarkar clinch gold in Bridge men’s Pair event. The Indian duo finished first in the Final with a total of 384.00.
This is India’s 15 gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games.
There were two other Indian teams competing in the same event. Sumit Mukherjee and Debabrata Majumder finish 9th with a score of 333 while the duo of Subhash Gupta and Sapan Desai stand 12th and last.
This is the first time that Bridge has been included at the Asian Games, and India was represented by a 24-member contingent. India has already bagged two bronze medals, in the men’s and mixed team events.
Amit Panghal defeats Rio Olympics gold medallist Hasanboy Dusmatov 3-2 to win the gold in the Men's Light Fly 49kg category.
This is India’s first and only medal in boxing at this Asian Games. It is also the 14th gold medal at this edition of the quadrennial event.
Going into the match, Uzbekistan’s Hasanboy Dusmatov was favourite to win. But right from the beginning of the bout, Amit matched up to his opponent, a 2017 World Championships silver medallist.
Earlier this year, 22-year-old Amit had bagged a silver at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. The Armyman from Haryana also won gold at the prestigious Strandja Memorial Tournament in Bulgaria this year.

India finish last among 9 participants in the women’s Kayak Four (K4) 500m Final A. The four member team comprising Ragina Kiro, Sandhya Kispotto, Meena Devi Laishram and Soniya Devi Phairembam finish with a timing of 1:51.729.
With that India’s Canoe/Kayak campaign comes to an end. India did not win any medals in the sport at this Asian Games.

The Indian mixed team of Rajwinder Kaur, Garima Choudhary, Harshdeep Singh Brar, Kalpana Devi and Vijay Kumar Yadav have lost their quarter-final match 0-4 against Kazakhstan.
Rajwinder Kaur did not compete in the quarters, while the rest four Judokas lost their respective matches.
The team had earlier defeated Nepal 4-1 in their Round of 16 match.
India have entered the quarter-finals of the Judo Mixed Team event. The six-member team defeat Nepal 4-1 in the Round of 16 tie.
The quarter-final will start at 9:40 am IST.
Not a very good way to start the last big day at this year’s Asian Games.
Indian duo Prakant Sharma and Jamesboy Singh Oinam have finished last in the men’s Canoe Double (C2) 200m event after clocking a time of 41.152.
After finishing fifth and last in their heat, Prakant and Jamesboy had come first in the semis with a time of 40.838.
At 10:00 am IST later today, the Indian women will be competing in the Kayak Four (K4) 500m Final A.
India’s Amit Panghal (49kg) was the only Indian boxer to make the final of the 18th Asian Games after beating Philippines' Carlo Paalam on Day 13 of the competition. Amit prevailed 3-2 in a draining contest to make the finals.
The 22-year-old will be up against Uzbekistan’s Hasanboy Dusmatov in the 49kg category final at 12:30 pm IST.
The Indian men’s hockey team, who suffered a heartbreaking loss against Malaysia in the semi-final on Thursday, will take on arch-rivals Pakistan in the bronze medal match at 4 pm IST.
The Indian women’s squash team, who beat Malaysia 2-0 in the semi-finals on Friday, will be competing in the final against Hong Kong at 1:30 pm IST on Saturday.
