CII recognizes Tata Power at its 7th National Excellence Practice Competition 2019

The Mumbai Distribution team of Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power company was honoured at the recently held 7th CII National Excellence Practice Competition 2019 event held in Bengaluru. The team won the Theme ofDigitalization” Practices in the Sector ofServices” under the Stream of “Public Services”.

Mr. Manoj Gupta, Head - Customer Relationship Management, Tata Power Distribution (Mumbai) received the award on behalf of the company presented by Mr. Arun Y (Sr. Director, Capgemini) and Mr. K Balasubramani (GM – Manufacturing, Triveni Turbine Ltd.)

While the “Manufacturing” Sector was represented by Streams of Process Industries, Engineering Industries & Infrastructures this year, the streams of IT & ITeS and Public Services represented the “Services” Sector. Each stream presented three awards with a focus on deployment of the successful case studies and methodologies in the areas of Digitalization and Community Projects.

The award ceremony showcased some of the best practices implemented by organizations to provide higher business values and deliver superior experience to the beneficiaries. Other top honourees in Services Sector under the Stream of Public Services were Max Healthcare (1st Runner up) and Apollo Hospital (2nd Runner up).
